The evaluation scoring rubric serves as a guide for both applicants and reviewers, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with the initiative's overarching goal of growth and sustainability in farming practices.
For Reviewers:
The primary objective of Malama Da Farmer is to support farmers in increasing and upscaling their current production levels.
For Applicants:
When submitting your application, keep in mind that all requested funds should be used to enhance and expand your local food production capacity.

Reviewers must report the following conflicts of interest:
•Personal Relationships. This includes family members, close friends, or signifcant others named in the application.
•Financial Interests. This includes any of your financial investments or business relationships that could be affected by the outcome of the grant application.
•Grant Application Support. Please report if you supported the planning, development, or writing of the grant application.
•Other Biases. If you feel you may be influenced in your scoring based on previous knowledge or experience with an applicant and not on the contents of the application, please report this at any point in the review process.
